The foundations of Precinct’s broad and enduring partnership with Multiplex (now Brookfield Multiplex) began when Precinct was enlisted in 2003 to deliver an initial public offering (IPO) to market. Meanwhile, Precinct’s brand design excellence was also called upon to market Darling Island, a premium residential development on Sydney Harbor.

The IPO was an unqualified success and the real estate pitch was tone perfect – together they keenly underlined the sheer breadth and diversity of Precinct as a design and communication consultancy. Pitching a multimillion dollar property to a prospective owner or investor requires a very different level of communication and engagement than does a prospectus to shareholders.

Multiplex was soon fully exploiting Precinct’s diverse capabilities. Multiplex Capital entrusted Precinct – which has long-proven expertise in the funds management sector – with its annual reports, product disclosure statements, advertising, magazine and investor relations work. This in turn led to Precinct being afforded the privilege of designing and managing the Multiplex corporate annual reports and human resources communication.

More recently, after Multiplex’s acquisition by Brookfield, Precinct managed the brand integration strategy between the two organizations. Precinct has partnered with Multiplex and, subsequently, Brookfield Multiplex on a complete business lifecycle across a range of transactions, investor relations and branding challenges.

Precinct has been there every step of the way. Few companies, if any, have the capability to manage the range and complexity of strategic communication and design solutions that Precinct has offered Multiplex and Brookfield Multiplex.
